"W. is pulling out all the stops this week to try to make people forget he was in charge when the twin towers were hit, but if he’s doing so great, why is Osama releasing new tapes while Afghanistan crumbles while Pakistan stands ready to implode while Lebanon has already exploded while Iran goes nuclear and taunts us while Al Qaeda in Iraq calls on its followers to kill Americans 'by a sniper bullet, spear, explosive or martyrdom car'?"

you may believe that Bush is bad guy... or whatever... the fact of the matter is you shouldnt be listent to ANYTHING michael moore has to say.... he is liar... BIG TIME!
I'm sorry that you have different views than the president's and that you like that calling him an A**hole is going to make a difference... well... it just makes the people who support you and your views look like closed mined people... get all of the facts before making a choice on who to follow.... all i have to say is that CNN, CBS and others DONT provide the news... you have to find it for yourself...
God Bless American
and Go Bush
so are you saying michael moore lied about the FACT that george w. bush just sat there in that classroom like a deer caught in the headlights while thousands of people met their death during the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history?
or that moore lied about the FACT that the preznit (you know, the guy i think is an asshole) received a briefing entitled "BIN LADEN DETERMINED TO ATTACK INSIDE THE UNITED STATES" and then blissfully continued with his vacation?
what was the president supposed to do... jump up and run outside and yell take me! NO! He was NOT IN A STATE OF PANIC!
About his "vacation" wasnt he at Camp David? I believe that is a full operational site for the president... also i believe it was Bill "Slick Willy" Clinton that had the most information about the Bin Laden and decided that he would mess around on his wife than serve our country. One thing that i have noticed from people that support your view that the President doesnt deside to go to war... Congress does. and if you remember the resolution to go to war passed with flying colors.... if Bush "lied" why didnt more people vote against the war? congress has the right to see every piece of intellegence before making a decision...
take care
:)
look, i'm not going to get into a pissing match with someone who refers to Bill Clinton as "Slick Willy" (how '90s), but, no, Bush was not at Camp David -- he was at his ranch in Crawford, Texas, fishing, clearing brush, golfing. He spent an entire month there.
As far as Clinton and Bin Laden are concerned: "Following the attacks on the U.S. embassies in Africa in August 1998, President Clinton signed a directive authorizing the CIA to apprehend bin Laden and bring him to the United States to stand trial for his role in the bombings.
The directive, which was modified several times, authorized the use of deadly force if taking bin Laden alive was deemed impossible. And in fact, according to government sources, non-Americans (we don't know what nationality) working on behalf of the CIA tried to kill bin Laden last year. These foreign operatives told the CIA they fired a rocket-propelled grenade at bin Laden as he drove in a convoy of cars through a mountainous road in Afghanistan, and that the grenade hit one of the vehicles -- though not the one bin Laden was in.
According to CBS News sources, members of the House and Senate intelligence committees were notified of both the presidential directive and the attempt on bin Laden's life.
CBS News has been told that the Clinton administration got around the long-time ban on government assassinations by coming up with a so-called "self-defense exception." The idea is that lethal force could be used against someone who either poses an imminent threat on U.S. national security or personnel, or has attacked U.S. interests in the past and is deemed likely to do so again."(source: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2001/09/16/national/main311490.shtml)
You might also be interested to know that President Reagan and Vice President George Bush are responsible for arming Bin Laden in the first place (http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CHO109C.html).
And finally:
"A congressional report made public yesterday concluded that President Bush and his inner circle had access to more intelligence and reviewed more sensitive material than what was shared with Congress when it gave Bush the authority to wage war against Iraq."(source: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/12/15/AR2005121501813_pf.html)
