Forgot One
This one combines whistling "happy" tunes and watching lots of TV. 25 years after they released their "Commerical Album", The Residents have finally realized their goal of making a video for every single 1-minute song (now expanded to 56 from the original 40). The conceit of the original album was that all commercial pop songs could be reduced to a verse and a chorus (and perhaps a break) -- the other 2-3 minutes simply filler. They pushed the "commericial" concept even further by actually buying commercial time on radio stations in order to get their record some airtime (perhaps the only time a commercial radio station played The Residents). I can't provide a sample video for you, but if you click on the DVD pic I'll play you one of my favorite songs from the album. Enjoy...
